Chokopam Fudgy Cacao Brownies
🍫 Chokopam Fudgy Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 full Chokopam bar, grated or melted (approx. 3–4 tablespoons melted)
- ½ cup unsalted vegan butter (or coconut oil)
- Âľ cup coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
- 2 flax eggs (2 tbsp ground flax + 6 tbsp water)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup all-purpose flour (or oat flour for a gluten-free option)
- ÂĽ cup cacao powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ÂĽ tsp sea salt
- ½ cup chopped dark chocolate or cacao nibs (optional, for extra gooeyness)
Â
🥣 Instructions:
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a square 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
-
In a saucepan, melt the butter and Chokopam bar over low heat, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
-
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the coconut sugar, flax eggs, and vanilla until combined.
-
Slowly add the melted cacao mixture into the bowl and stir to combine.
-
Fold in the flour, cacao powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just incorporated. Do not overmix.
-
If using, gently fold in the chopped chocolate or cacao nibs.
-
Pour the batter into your prepared pan and spread evenly.
-
Bake for 22–26 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly soft. A toothpick inserted should come out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
-
Let cool completely before slicing. This part is hard. Be strong.

Serving Tip:
Top with flaky sea salt, a scoop of coconut milk ice cream, or a drizzle of tahini for extra flair.
Why You'll Love It:
These brownies aren’t just chocolatey — they’re deep, earthy, and decadent. Chokopam’s Haitian cacao adds richness you won’t find in standard supermarket bars, with a subtle bitterness that balances out the sweetness.
This recipe is a celebration of craft cacao, conscious indulgence, and a whole lot of flavor.
